The Tourle Street Duplication project involved construction of a new 330-metre bridge over the Hunter River and 3.8km road duplication in Newcastle, New South Wales. The project included delivery of the major structure in challenging tidal water conditions, works adjacent to heavily trafficked arterial road, multiple utility diversions, stakeholder engagement with a variety of industry and community stakeholders, and sensitive environmental management.
