Description
In the two years to 2016, WBHO has delivered 12 infrastructure upgrade projects on the Main Roads network, eight of which were through the DownerMouchel panel of works.
Projects have been undertaken throughout greater metropolitan Perth, across multiple sites concurrently and have principally involved road widening and intersection works.
All works have been undertaken in highly constrained sites adjacent to live traffic on some of Perth’s busiest roads. Site management strategies have focused on public and worker safety at all times – across all projects there have been zero LTIs recorded. Critical to success has been eliminating unplanned disruptions and maintaining traffic flow achieved through careful staging of works and undertaking works during off peak hours when possible. All projects have been completed to budget and on or ahead of schedule.
